Audio Transcription Services are increasingly in demand but whether you find a transcription service that meets all your requirements might not be as easy as you think. An audio typist is not necessarily skilled at providing an audio transcription service. The difference is immense and we have had first hand experience of this when filtering through the test results we receive from audio typists who undertake our audio transcription test.

We were among the first audio transcription services to offer a per audio minute rate. These fees are calculated on our experience of how long audio can take to transcribe, based on the content and length of audio. We do not charge for converting mini discs or standard audio tape recordings to digital audio files. Our fees include full project management, which cuts down on your time and costs, with one client calculating this saved them over £300, which is what it would have cost them to employ somebody at their university to organise the distribution of the audio amongst individual transcribers and sort out the invoicing procedures. Clients who only work with mini discs and standard audio tapes are very grateful that we deal with conversion to digital audio and give them these recordings free at the end of the process.

For digital audio transcription, audio files can be sent to us over a secure file sharing network. This means sensitive audio material is not lost in cyberspace, large files are not rejected and likewise, sensitive transcripts can also be returned to you via this secure encrypted system.
