Discounted Conference Transcription Services

We provide conference transcription, covering a half day, full day and week long conferences. Our transcripts are accurate and turned around to meet our client demands for post-conference paperwork production. We are happy to work alongside PowerPoint print outs to match up with the presentations and our service includes a full proof read through with the original audio and full Internet research where required.

For universities, research bodies, registered charities and NHS Trusts we provide conference transcription at a discounted rate. As a guideline, a one day conference of 6 hours would cost £510 plus VAT to transcribe at the discounted rate. Lecture transcription at a discounted rate would be £135 plus VAT for a 90 minute presentation including Q & A. 

We ask our clients to advise how they want their conference transcription carried out, as we have three styles of transcript available: verbatim (total transcription of every utterance including housekeeping notes and notations of applause and laughter), intelligent verbatim (no housekeeping notes or 'er', 'um' or repetitive words e.g. 'kind of', 'sort of' or background noise notations) or intelligent (a crisp summary of what was said, usually only used by those reporting back on the conference and not as part of the post-conference pack)

As part of our conference transcription service we convert standard audio tape recordings to digital files for transcription and provide this service at no additional charge, including the provision of these digital recordings to our clients should they require them. We transcribe from mini disc, mp3, wma, video, digital video, digital audio recordings and standard tapes but this list is not exhaustive, if you have another format you are recording your event please contact us to see if we can assist you.

We provide conference transcription services to universities, research bodies, medical professions, specialist industries (i.e. oil, energy, transport) and charge a per audio minute.
