My personal testimony

Audiosec Limited is a Christian led business. It came about as an offshoot of DeeWP. As the Lord blessed my business I wanted to bless others and the scripture that this ‘desire’ came from was Genesis 12:3. That I could be a blessing to other families, from the blessing I had received from the Lord.

This is, of course, a business and I need to earn my living from it, but there’s a greater investment involved here. The lives of the people I work with and the reputation when working with others.

I will market my business, I will do my best to get an excellent website (and position it well) to draw clients here but at the end of the day, I truly believe that any blessing I get from this business is down to who the Lord sends along and when. If work goes quiet, I naturally get concerned, but knowing the Lord never lets me down, I have to backtrack and see if my attitude to work has changed at all and if it has, put it right and hand the business back to the Lord again.

I don’t see the teams here as just transcribers working away to earn their living and mine. I believe every person who has come along here is here for a greater purpose than earning money – to be part of a caring community that supports one another and prevents us from ever feeling on our own, whatever the circumstances. It was as I asked the ladies to send in their comments for this website that I saw that they do feel part of that caring community. It is very moving to read how they feel about working here.

I don’t push my Christianity on the teams here, it’s not part of my ethos that they have to believe what I believe, but I trust that the Lord will use the opportunities that arise to show His love and concern for them (and my business clients) through my love and concern for their wellbeing.

I will endeavour to always give first class service, as if working unto the Lord. I will always be honest in all my financial dealings and do nothing that would dishonour God in the way I conduct my business. I won’t ‘slag off’ other companies but I will continue with my insistence that we are a team of professional transcribers. My vision is to see Audiosec Limited become known as the specialist service for research interview transcription, focus group transcription, PACE interview transcription and conference transcription. I don’t want to make Audiosec Limited a jack of all trades but master of none.
