| Interview transcription covers one to one interview
transcription and two to one (or one to two) interview transcription, in
other words up to three participants taking part in an interview scenario.
If you have four or more participants then please visit our focus
group transcription page.
Business interview transcription often involves people who are mature students taking a Masters Degree, carrying out interviews for part of their coursework, or for research by a business into how their products are perceived by clients (i.e. for market research purposes) or the like. We are happy to carry out interview transcription in these circumstances, but would advise if you are looking for interview transcription as a mature student that you tell us this when seeking a quote, as a discount is available for students, but you must be able to prove your student status. We transcribe from standard tapes, mini discs or digital audio files. If you have digital audio files these can be sent to us via a secure file transfer system, which cuts down on the amount of time involved in us receiving and starting on your project, but also cuts down on your costs as you will not be charged return postage if you send digital files over the Internet. By using our secure file transfer service you can be assured the files will not go astray in cyberspace or be have your confidentiality comprised if you were to send them simply as email attachments. Remember, if you file sizes are large a file transfer system (or FTP) are the only sure ways of having your files arrive safely. Please visit our advice page for what equipment to use and how to carry out your interview successfully. Remember: clear audio recordings = accurate interview transcription. Contact us for further details about the cost of transcribing your project or to gain some advice before you begin. |
