Lectures often come under the heading
of conference transcription, but here at Audiosec, because the majority
of clients we have worked for that require their lectures to be
transcribed come from bodies that are on strict budgets (i.e. academics,
charities and students) we have decided to cap our prices for lecture
transcription and make these lower than the discounted conference
transcription rate we would normally charge our clients.
Therefore, we charge £1.50 per audio
minute (plus VAT)
for lecture transcription. Not only do all our team enjoy transcribing
lectures but except in very rare circumstances, the recordings are
lovely and clear, which adds to the pleasure derived from typing them
up. We all feel we gain a fantastic amount of knowledge from the lecture
subjects and look forward to assisting you with your lectures.
Our lecture transcription service
includes all Internet research, a full proof read against the original
audio and where appropriate, the conversion of standard tapes or mini
discs to PC-based digital audio files, providing these free of charge to
our clients if they so wish.
