1.
Service Provider: Audiosec
Limited / Customer:
Name and Address outlined on the Project Booking
Form/Quotation. If freelancers are accepted to work on a project it
is understood that these are independent contractors used by
Audiosec Limited and not employees. 2.
Signed agreement of Terms & Conditions & Project
Booking Form/or quotation is required prior to commencement of any
project. Acceptance of
Terms and Conditions / Project Booking Form/Quotation comprise the
agreement between us. A cancelled project is charged at £20.00 for
administration charges. No variation of this agreement may be made
except in writing, signed by both parties. Prices quotes are subject
to change without notice prior to receiving completed project
booking form. Quote valid for 3 weeks from date of issue. 3.
An invoice will be issued on completion of each assignment.
For larger ongoing monthly assignments an invoice will be
issued weekly. We
request that payments be made within 14 days (as appropriate) of
date of invoice unless you advise otherwise. Universities MUST set
up a purchase order with their accounts department to enable payment
of their accounts. We reserve the right to charge interest on
overdue amounts at the rate of 8% per month on the outstanding
balance from the date of the invoice until the date of payment and
charge £15.00 for each reminder that is sent after the due date.
Please remember if you do not settle your bills on time we cannot
settle ours. 4.
In the event of any cheque from a client being refused by the
bank, the client will be responsible for all bank charges resulting
from the returned cheque. Payments made via PayPal from foreign
clients will be charged an additional 4% and credit/debit card
payments will also incur an additional 4%. Return postage is charged
for 5 or more discs/tapes and for return via any means other than
ordinary 2nd class post. Audio 29 seconds or below
rounded down to the previous minute, 30 seconds or above rounded up
to the next minute. 5.
We reserve the right to change turnaround times and prices
quoted due to changes in the specifications, quantities, legibility
and/or quality of original or source material, delivery
arrangements, unforeseen problems or other circumstances, including,
but not limited to, illness, terms, conditions or circumstances that
were not part of the original verbal or written quotation. An
additional levy of 20p per audio minute may be required in the case
of very poor audio or
where English is not the mother tongue, but will only be levied
where prior notification has been given by
Audiosec Limited via electronic mail (email) and acceptance
has been given by the client by return electronic mail (email). 6.
If we, Audiosec Limited, agree any variation of the service we
will be providing under this agreement, we, Audiosec
Limited, reserve the right to amend the price. 7.
If your project is handed over to a project manager, you agree
to have them invoice you direct and pay them direct, at the agree
price on this form, (if you have indicted ‘yes’ on this form to
work being passed on) and all correspondence regarding your project
will cease with Audiosec Limited and be assigned to the new service
provider. It is thereafter understood that Audiosec Limited becomes
facilitator and not service provider. 8.
By accepting work or services agreed upon, you, the customer,
assume full responsibility for final proofreading and accuracy of
documents, final product or service.
Any other additions or amendments made by the customer will
be charged. Audiosec Limited cannot be held liable for damage to any
media supplied by the customer either in our possession or in
transit. Where freelancers are used proof reading is their
responsibility as part of their contract and no additional proof
reading by Dee Briston, Project Management Officer of Audiosec
Limited can be entered into. 9.
All incoming emails, discs, CDs, or other media will be scanned
for viruses. Audiosec
Limited will not open unsolicited attachments to emails or email
attachments which do not have an accompanying explanatory message.
We endeavour to scan all Emails and attachments sent to customers
for viruses etc. However
it is the responsibility of all recipients to check text, graphics,
and attachments for trojans, viruses, and worms as no responsibility
or liability will be accepted by Audiosec Limited. 10.
If required, a Confidentiality Agreement will be forwarded on
request. |
