Using our service Initially you can either telephone me on 01202 460703 or email me at enquiries@audiosec.co.uk  requesting a quote. You will need to let me know who you represent (i.e. you are a student or enquiring from a company) and what you have that needs transcribing. I will then send you a detailed quote and supporting information I feel might be of benefit to you. Along with this I will send you a booking form so you can secure our services. Once I receive back the completed booking form I will send you a password so you can start sending your digital files, or alternatively you can send over your CDs, DVD, Videos, mini discs or standard cassette tapes for transcription to Audiosec Limited Transcription Service, 32a Creekmoor Lane, Creekmoor, Poole, Dorset BH17 7BS. All standard audio (analogue) recordings received here are converted to PC based digital files which are made available to you free of charge. This is especially useful if you want to prolong the life of your recordings and play the recordings from your computer to go alongside the transcript you will receive back. Where inaudibles are notes on the transcripts an audio marker can be inserted which allows you to locate on the audio file you have where the difficulty arose and you may be able to fill in any gaps. These gaps are generally because of poor recordings or background noise that obscured the speech but in most cases, the number of inaudibles is reduced during the proof reading process when the transcript is checked with the audio before returning to you.
